Gail Markham – Woman to Watch Experienced Leader

Gail Markham, CPA/ABV/CFF, CFE, CFP, founding Partner for Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Co., P.A. (MNMW), was recognized as the Woman to Watch Experienced Leader by the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).

The FICPA Women to Watch Awards were created to focus on the outstanding women who not only shape the Florida Institute of CPAs, but also the profession. Recipients of this award have authored numerous articles, made major contributions to the profession, performed public and/or community service, served as a mentor, and have proven to provide improvement to the workplace.

Markham founded the MNMW firm in 1979 and has extensive experience in litigation services, mediation, and forensic accounting.  She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, is Accredited in Business Valuation, is Certified in Financial Forensics from the AICPA, is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, and is a Registered Investment Advisor.  Other awards received by Markham include the 2013 Laureate from the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame of Lee County, the 2013 SWFL Makers Award from WGCU, 2011 Woman of the Year by Gulfshore Life Magazine, 2010 Philanthropist of the Year by Gulfshore Life Magazine, 2008 APEX Recipient from the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, the Athena Award in 2000 – just to name a few.
