Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Co., P.A. (MNMW) welcomes Jeff Denning, CPA/ABV, to the firm as a member of its Litigation Support, Forensic Accounting, and Mediation Services team, where he will serve as the Director of Business Valuation.

Jeff oversees the firm’s Business Valuation services, having appraised hundreds of closely held businesses in most industries. He serves clients across the U.S., particularly in Ohio, Michigan, and Florida. He has valued controlling and minority, non-marketable interests in all types of companies and entities for purposes of buy/sell transactions, gift and estate tax filings, stock incentives, divorces, ownership disputes, and planning.
He graduated from Michigan State University with both his undergraduate and Master of Business Administration degrees. Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Ohio and Florida, and he is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV).
Jeff has over 30 years of experience as a business appraiser, forensic accountant, dispute consultant, and expert witness. Prior to joining MNMW, Jeff served as a senior appraiser and forensic accounting expert for firms based in Ohio and Michigan. Additionally, Jeff has five years of experience with a $3-billion global manufacturer.
His areas of expertise include valuations for divorce, gifts, trusts, and estates, sales and acquisitions, and income determination. He has extensive experience providing expert testimony, assessing business damages, resolving shareholder disputes, and assisting with succession planning. Jeff also specializes in forensic examination, personal injury and wrongful death damages, and malpractice claims.
Jeff is actively involved in professional and civic organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services Section, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), Expert Resource Connection, LLC (ERC), the Estate Planning Council of Lee County, Inc., and the Toledo Estate & Financial Planning Council.
