HHS Updates to Provider Relief Funds Reporting
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has published a report that offers more information on the reporting requirements for recipients of Provider Relief Fund payments. The timeline for this to take effect will begin in early 2021; however, previous deadlines have changed in the past, and the dates in this new report are subject to change.
This new guidance provides more detail to group practices who have received Provider Relief Funds of more than $10,000. Providers will need to report on how the funds were spent on COVID-related expenses and lost revenue.
